spyrogyro
If I were to buy the ATI 4870 card that they sell at Apple would it work in my Hackintosh without issue, or am I still tied to 32bit beta netkas code to get it to function properly? imiraj
I'm not sure. You may want to try out a GTS-250 or a 9400GT depending on your need. I have an existing GTS250 Card but it causes a Black Screen on OS 10.6.2 or higher using my Aquos 46" HDTV when plugged in via HDMI or DVI->HDMI. I'm not a gamer but I'd like to keep the performance of the system at or above the G92 nVidia CPU. I'm going to try out a 9400GT straight DVI as the problem appears to be linked to HDCP connections.
