I've check the wiki and just abut every configuration there when you try to find the motherboard they don't make them any more. Could somebody help me with some ideas that will work. Would it be ok to use a 250 - 500GB western digital harddrive. Also where can I buy the mac os x snow leopard for 28.49. Is there any sort of distro that you can recommend that will allow me to setup a hakintosh I'm a complete noob and for the last 2 days been researching on getting one setup. I tried with my dell E1705 but I only get a black screen but I can hear the sound. I have a asus M4A78T-E with an amd phenom X3 720 processor can't get any distro to allow me to install it goes to a gray apple screen with a do not enter like sign. I also have a hp dv6000 laptop and a gateway GT5485e and same thing can't get it to install from what I've read about its any issue with AMD any insight. by the way thank you for the suggestion now I just need to track everything down anbuy it pieace by pieace.
