ericpol
I am running with a compaq presario athlon 64 3200+ I installed with the generic install cd everything went fine. I installed imovie and idvd and i don't have the option to run using rosetta. I tried installing maxxus patch 0.5 my cpu only supports sse2. Any help would be greatly appreciated. macgirl
Pretty obvious, but what the heck... They don't have "Run with Rosetta" beacuase they are PPC ONLY, the option only appears when you have Universal Binary App. If it is a only X86 Binary it runs natively, if it is a only PPC Binary it runs unavoidably with Rosetta. ericpol
So why aren't they running properly?
cstrippie
The failure is likely due to your processor not supporting SSE3. If you processor *does* support SSE3, then you need to replace the patched Coregraphics file you (apparently) have with the original (unpatched) file. axept
that MAXXUSS patch as the option to install for machines without SS3! You just need to choose it during apply!
macgirl
Nobody really knows if all PPC apps run flawlessly even on Developer Kits, since this is not a production OS is a transitional and a Developer Edition.
