Nesagwa Posted July 23, 2006 Share Posted July 23, 2006 I have an AMD Athlon 64 installed with the SSE2 patch (The one that comes in the DVD installer) and stuff for 10.4.6 Now the problem is when I try to install iTunes and Adobe CS2 they both freeze in the installer. I have no idea how to go abou fixing this. which DVD you are using for installing Mac OS X ... if u are using JaS 10.4.6 DVD, then i suppose that you should try running the AMD Enabler patch.. Nesagwa Posted July 25, 2006 Author Share Posted July 25, 2006 Well I did get Adobe installed, I think it was the way I was mounting the dmg files that was making it hang before. But iTunes doesnt even run well, it hangs and locks up with 6.0.2, even the apple software update freezes when it tries to update it. Dunno.
