Tamed G Posted July 14, 2010 Share Posted July 14, 2010 I am having some conflicts on startup of my 10.6.3 installation which are related to the installation of drivers for Ralink RT2870 USB Wireless Drivers. I get the following conflict... - Refusing new kext com.apple.iokit.IONetworkingFamily, v1.9: a loaded copy with a different executable UUID is already present. - Refusing new kext com.apple.iokit.IOUSBFamily, v3.9.6: already have loaded v9.9.9. this stalls out the boot process and I have to unplug the WiFi adapter from the USB to allow the computer to fully start up. Then the adapter is unusable when I plug it back in. How can I rectify this situation so I can use my WiFi adapter?
