Hello All!

First off let me state the specs I am working with...

 • Gigabyte EP45-UD3P Mother Board
 • Intel Core 2 Quad
 • 8 Gigs RAM
 • 500 Gig SATA HD
 • ATI All-In-Wonder x1900

Well I have decided to install Mac OS X Leopard on this system. I have an iMac, Mac Mini Server, and MacBook Pro... So I am familiar with the Mac OS X... I found several guides, and one specifically for my Mobo, on how to install OS X on the system. I went through and set all my BIOS settings according to the instructions, changing my SATA to AHCI and the other settings. I also read where there was trouble with OS X and my MOBO having 2 NIC's on it so I also disabled each. I then downloaded and burned to a disc ##### (ATI Version) and booted up the computer to it. Like the instructions said I then had the computer read and start the Installation program. This is where my problem is. It never makes it past the Apple and its little spinning circle. Using the -v command this is what it reads when it stops...

ATY_InitL Map IO memory failed

DSMOS has arrived

Refusing new kext com.apple.iokit.IOUSBFamily, v3.7.8: already have loaded v9.9.9.

Warning - com.apple.driver.InternalModemSupport declares no kernel dependencies; using com.apple.kernel.6.0.

ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin::start - waitForService(resourceMatching(AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement)timed out.

And this is where it stops. Always. I have no ideal what this means but I have been trying for 3 days to get this to work. I have also tried the USB Thumbdrive route and it hangs as well. If anyone can point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks!

Megan
