[HIRE] Custom i7 Video Editing Machine

Hi, I've ben doing a lot of video editing in fcp 6 in HD with a lot of color correction and what not, and the poor render times on my c2d macbook pro are really becoming a hindrance to my work. I live in Los Angeles, and i was wondering if anyone (preferably an expert at this stuff and preferably local) would be willing to put together (or already have) an i7 tower with 10.6 that can run stably around 3.5 ghz. I have anywhere from $1000-1200 to spend on the tower before i purchase the monitor. I'd expect that everything runs without a hitch, and has real quick boot drive, and at least 500 gb of storage. I'd like to hear any potential specs at this price point.
