What type of install are you using? Retail or distro? Which bootloader are you using? Which kexts are you loading? This type of info would make troubleshooting easier...

 

(Not trying to sound snobbish, I am just a n00b at this myself, but more info would help others to figure out what's wrong.)

thank you for your answer i use tonymac's [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] with retail disc...i've not installed any kext and 10.6 works perfectly, but both updates cause same error... not booting...i have snow leo in external hard drive ( it is clean installation with no changes, just installed) i copy it to internal hdd partion , i apply the update, then i need always to restore...

Did either of you install [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] after the Update but BEFORE you reboot your computer?

 

If yes then I would suggest posting a thread on his forum to get some help on it.
