fortune
I have installed modifined drivers for this adsl modem ( drivers from d-link site dont support 10.4), but kext doesn't loading. It's writing warning smting like it is for ppc arhitecture and you are trying to load it on intel x86, and next that kext cannot be loaded. If anybody have solution about this pls post it where. judy
Can't you read the error message? The kext clearly says it's for PowerPC and doesn't work on X86. Period. There is no solution - ppc drivers simply don't work on x86. If you have the source code, you can try porting it, though.
containsmildperil
buy a ADSL D link DSL 300T. they're not too expsensive and work fine without too much messing. I got mine working via normal set up proceedure and no need to install additional drivers. Some modems just aren't meant to work on x86 (like my trusty old alcatel speedtouch330)
