olykwon Posted July 1, 2010 Share Posted July 1, 2010 Hey I saw someone on the HCL that got snow leopard to boot on his x200m, with the rs480m and sb450 chipset/southbridge and got resolution to work with Leopards callisto, even without resolution id be happy enough to just have it booted and working, i already have a laptop with os 10 installed. the guy posted he used the kexts fakesmc evoreboot IoAHCIBlockStorageInjector nullcpupowermanagement platform uuid AtaPortInjector AHCIPortInjector IOATAFamilly from 10.5.8 AppleVIAAta VoodooHDA ApplePS2Controller VoodooPS2Controller VoodooBattery Also I have a Marvelle Yukon PCI-E 88E8036 Ethernet Controller with a Broadcom 4318 wireless also i have a Linksys WUSB54g V4 USB Wireless adaptor for when im in my basement, the graphics is the dreaded x200m the laptop model is the Gateway MX6427 for those who could look at further specs If anyone could post links to the kexts id need to get this laptop working itd be greatly appreciated I have the retail leopard dvd and most recent version of myhack installer every time i try to install it using the hazard dvd it doesnt even boot using retail and myhack i get to the installer but the keyboard and mouse doesnt work, using ideneb 10.5.8 the hd speed is too slow to even load finder, im curious as to see what i can work with if anyone out there could lend a hand PLEASE DO! hmmm i think it may be the sb400 actually Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
