  2. Intel GMA4500 / GL 4x Express Chipset

if you think you could give this a shot: Download the modded drivers for intel 5xxxHD then in the dsdt inject or rewrite the graphics section to include the hardware ID's of the 5xxx and try to boot up, should load the graphic drivers for that intel chipset, (might need to apply dual link fix and (or) EDID injection, but thats merely speculation, good luck =D id test it but my sisters 4500 has only windows 7 but i am currently working on its dsdt for other things, if nobody gets around to this i will definitely give it a try, I say grab the modified drivers because it seems that the operating system looks for its nvidia brother in the laptop and cannot find it, to my understanding the modified drivers have that check removed, good luck and i really hope we can get this working
  3. 10.6.5 Released

No problems on my Lattitude D830 updated and runs perfectly fine for those with a modified kernel though i wouldnt be able to tell. im about to try and up an AMD system =D
  4. Update bios to latest from dell website, then use these and bam! bootup with native power, native ioata, sleep support 100% battery support, FULL 1920x1020 resolution QE/CI Ethernet works, Wifi doesnt need to install a dell 1390 into the wireless bay that resides UNDER the keyboard, Bluetooth out of the box , rtc has been fix'ed and an smbios plist file has been incorporated into the install to give full native speedstepping (HPET) fixed so enjoy OS X Fully native on this laptop, Requires chameleon RC5 , Included a premodified com.apple.boot.plist for the necissary fixes that chameleon currently supports, (HPET, P/C-States,GraphicsEnabler) Also the PCI Root Fix has been applied to the DSDT so less work for chameleon to do, bootup is faily quick.... well enough rambling on here it is!!! http://www.megaupload.com/?d=JOYX0AL2
  5. GMA X4500

Well there are mac's using the 5700HD and i think the focus should be on getting THEIR card working first then knock out the 4500 with their progress, itll be a {censored} im sure but that seems like the next best and only hope for the cdard
  6. GMA X4500

for the scrambled screen have you tried using a dual link fix in the dsdt? and also have you tried using the modified framebuffer for the x3100?? worth a shot... ill be messing around with my sisters laptop this week with the same graphics chipset so ill be sure to post any of my findings, great work and best of luck to everyone who has this card
  7. http://www.ipodtouchfans.com/forums/showth...356#post2408356 Any developers who want to help on this, to get the OS on the device i think we need to mod kernelcache.n82 or as in my ipsw (kernelcache.m68) read this post on ipodtouchfans for what ive done so far, any support and knowledge would help me tremendously http://www.megaupload.com/?d=RUUJ1S6R here is a little ipsw shell without the dmg files, put those in yourself, see what you can do itunes will accept this as long as you run thefirmwareumbrella with your 2g plugged in and grab the shshblobs for 4.0.2 iPhone 3g firmware and start tss server , {censored} or command click pc/mac and see what progress we can make lol shift** also when more progress is made im going to switch to a custom ipsw of 4.0.2 because were going to need to ssh in bootneuter for unlockers
  8. Can SOmeone Post The IOPCMCIA for Tiger Its not on chunnans mediafire =[[[[[[[[[ I need it so i can use my pcmcia wifi card XD, Just got the old Toshiba Sattelite with a m6 -ly video card 16mb running no CI but w/ QE after extensive patching of ID's and ioreg outputs im kinda tired of looking for today haha
  9. ok so i had chameleon installed aas my bootloader and when i went to install the meklort bootloader witch came in a zip file wwith 1 file inside named boot i deleted the one i had off the root of my drive and copied the boot file from the meklort zip file to replace it, now im stuck with a boot1: error, i can get into the drive using a boot cd , any help =[[[[ and as a note i need this bootloader so my intel i915 gma900 graphics card can work properly. it fixes many of the framebuffer issues like garbled top bar nevermind installed it by sudo rm-rf boot then sudo cp'ed the boot file
  10. First Install the meklort BootLoader http://www.meklort.com/?p=188 then Install the following Kexts posted from the leopard sollution http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...st&id=40555 http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...st&id=40556 You should now have full graphics acceleration without any garbled distorted top bar or color depth / rgb issues Post if this has worked for you or if it hasnt please include make model of the pc your using along with the hardware ID of your GMA 900, Im on a laptop and this has worked , supposedly its worked for netbooks aswell
  11. Okay so I got XxX OS X 10.4.11 Rev2 (Latest) up and running on my toshiba 1905 S301 I had to format the HD in MBR and only select SSE2 and ICH9 to boot into the system from the harddrive it uses the ICH2 (Brookdale) Chipset I also had to use the latest pcmcia family kext and move the pccard and pcicard kexts to a different folder other than S*/L*/Exensions/ otherwise immediate KP would occur on next boot. I followed the guide to get the ATI Mobility Radeon M6 16mb video card to work, I do have full resolution and changing the resolution to 1024x768 @ 70hz fixed my overscan issues, Generic AC97 Audio fixed my audio problem, and even though my ethernet port doesnt work, Intel 100 or w,e gets OS X to recognize the ethernet. So everything seemed ok, id start os x and it would see my wireless and video card however, QE doesnt work, Opengl I hadnt tested, and when i try to connect to a wireless router, it says airport not configured but it does see my WPC54GS V2.1 its a pcmcia card, if anyone could help me at least getting the wireless working correctly itd make my day
  12. I have the ATI Graphics card that was featured in one of the early Powerbook G4 Series, there was a solution to get Quartz Extreme Hardware acceleration but only Software Rendered Core Image , Apparently there were solutions for Leopard via a Radeon 7500.pkg but im a bit nervous as to give it a go on snow leopard because all Power PC based macs were cut off and im not sure if the radeon drivers for that card were along with it so i have my system running as it is but just with no QE and im not about to mess up the install with a package haha, If anyone could help itd be greatly appreciated
  13. for any ATI Xpress graphics card and the SBXXX 300.400,480,500,600,700 iPC_OSx86 10.5.6 PPF5 FINAL has the ability to boot installer with the Xpress XXX SBXXX compatible motherboard drivers, install that distro, then grab a snow leopard retail dvd, and the myhack installer and a prefferably over 4gb flash drive. i used an 8gig use disk utility to copy a retail immage (dmg format) copy of the retail snow leopard dvd. 10.6.0 or 10.6.3 will be fine. grab the latest amd kernel i think for now the best supported is qoopz find it under new releases, once the copy finishes run the myhack installer. select the appropriate patches. then copy over the kexts for the sbxxx driver i believe its appleatiata.kext, im not sure of the ps/2 keyboard and mouse driver, that was a pain in the ass to find a working combo guess ill play around with it to get it working again. also replace the kernal on the usb drive with the kernal you downloaded from the new releases, INSTALL AND ENJOY
  14. OS X is booting so f****n slow on EEEPC 901

since you already have os x installed 10.5.8 is indeed working, you might as well go the snow leopard route. Also get a linux or windows os installed on the side, WinXP, or Ubuntu 10.04 id recommend grabbing your dsdt and get a list of all hardware then have someone assist you in modifying the dsdt aml , or since your on a netbook witch osx86 suprisingly is popular on, try finding a precompiled one that will work for you, keep in mind though when doing that your using someone elses work. and it may not be the best finely tuned achievement as you could get by doing it yourself. wish you the best im purchasing an asus netbook soon so i'll let you know how it goes, oh and btw, download snow leopards retail dvd or buy it from apple, then use the myhack installer and a usb drive i use an 8 gig to copy over the dvd to the usb using disk utility, from there run myhack pick your kexts and you can also throw in some uptodate ones or ones for your specific hardware tht arent listed in a folder on the root of the usb drive called extra, make sure permissions are correct and try to boot up snow leopard on the asus, its well worth it going snow leo, faster, saves disk space, more support imo because everyones using it. and its leopard kext compatible
