However when reboot after install encounter mssg "system config file com.apple.boot.plist not found" Did it related to DVD ROm issue also i dont have a AHCI in BIos option. So not sure related on it? th3count Posted September 22, 2010 Share Posted September 22, 2010 bump* I am having this same issue as well. i have just used this Disc to install 10.6 on my laptop which is working great. but as soon as i install on my desktop everything seems to go well then on reboot i get the same error. Hard Drives are SATA, the DVD drive however is IDE. i have seen in some threads that this will create the issue during boot from disc. i fail to see the connection once the OS is already installed. hope someone has figured out the cause.
