Mac-tan
Hello, recently I installed Kalyway on my LG M1 Express Dual notebook, after a bit of messing about with downloading kexts to get my keyboard working and a few other bits and bobs... Everything works in a boooootifully! But there's a couple of issues I cant seem to figure out: Uploaded with ImageShack.us Is it possible to get my WiFi card working? I tried a couple of the drivers on the Kalyway disc and some kext from the interweb but I don't really know if I'm using the right ones or not? This is the main issue for me. I've taken a screenshot of my hardware list from the utility on the iAtkos... Although as stated before the version I actually installed is Kalyway. Also there is an issue where if I put the laptop to sleep it never wakes up again, any ideas regarding this one? Many thanks! and 1st post
michaspoli
The best thing, what you can do. Buy an Apple Airport Card from Ebay. With Atheros or Broadcom Chipsatz. No more problems with wlan. You can look there http://www.kexts.com
Mac-tan
Many thanks for the advice! I feel kind of silly for asking since after a bit more reading I discovered the hacked driver for my wifi only works on snow >_< I've also noticed an issue regarding audio, through the laptop speakers it is perfect but the OS cannot detect the headphone, line out or mic jack. Is there any method to resolving this issue? I tried my generic USB audio device I got for a cheap price and it works but the sound quality is generally very poor. Would you recommend finding new drivers for my existing audio or buying a decent USB card and if so can you recommend one that would work well with the OS? Regards, Mac-Tan. PS- How do you find OSX works out on the R60 for you? I am a big fan of Thinkpads ^^
