Hi! When I first started OSX up (I'm using HOTiSO's 10.4.6 release) it asked my which wireless network I wanted to connect to. I was happy!

I installed the graphics drivers, and had to restart. I restarted, they work. But guess what! The internet doesn't now. I can't even figure out how to set up wireless!

Could someone please help me? :(

Thank yoU!

There should be an Airport symbol in the upper right hand menu bar. Click it and select the network you want to join. Give it the password when it asks.

Also, go to Apple Menu -> System Preferences -> Network and double click on the Airport. Check out the various tabs and make sure things look correct.

apple button > about this mac > more info

network > airport card <-- select that and post what it says there.

maybe card isnt intialized, or configured right.

check this link too if it is recognized but not configured. heres how to get it working.

Hey, it's okay, I nano'd /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/NetworkInterfaces.plist and changed the instances of en0 to en1, and when I rebooted, it detected an AirPort card and connected!

I'm proud to say that I am posting this ON OSX, in 1280x1024 resolution :(

Thank you for all of your help, guys. I'm happy to finally be getting OSX functional!
