Chiddy22
I was just curious why my computer thinks it's an iMac. I installed using one of the easy methods (#####) and have no complaints about it thinking it's an iMac, I just wanted to know what makes it think that it is? Is it strictly the <key>SMproductname</key> <string>iMac11,1</string> in smbios.plist? Or is there something about my hardware that makes it think that way? I have a GA-X58A-UD5 i7 930 processor GTS 250 and 6 GB of Ram. Mostly just trying to expand my knowledge... Any help is appreciated Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/222770-why-does-my-computer-think-its-an-imac/ Share on other sites
