Mikemad Posted July 19, 2006 Share Posted July 19, 2006 hi all, the possibility to create a RAID1 with diskutility is a great feature, but... is it safe? my planned setup is: HDD1: Partiton 1: OSX Partition 2: Data (RAID1 with HDD2, Partition 2) HDD2: Partition 1: OSX Backup Partition 2: Data (RAID1 with HDD1, Partition 2) is it possible to create a RAID1 with diskutility on OSX86? its not nessesary to boot from. what happens, when one HDD crashes? what happens with my dates? thx, Mikemad Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
