ninjonxb
Hi, I installed Snow leopard on my desktop with the AMD Athlon 64 X2. I used this guide to do it. http://osx86.net/f57/amd-snow-leopard-10a432-install-t3727/ The OS starts quickly and running most apps I do not have an issue. I have a NVidia Geforce 9500 GT graphics card. Using NVinject.kext and telling the system using EFIstudio that I have a "Nvidia GeForce 8800 GT [G92]". I have issues with Itunes: I am able to view the visualizer inside the window and full screen. Whenever i try to sign in itunes will freeze and I have to force quit it. When I try to open the preferences, I can see the menu at the top but am not able to see anything under that, and the window is the full size of the screen going down. If i try to switch to a different tab of the preferences it will freeze and I have to force quit itunes. Issues with World of Warcraft. I am also having issues with WoW. I am able to perfectly run it in window'd mode without any issues. If I try to run it in full screen mode I am unable to view anything, it is just a black screen. However all of the sound is there. I have also had issues with transmission, it will randomly crash after a few minutes or freeze whenever i try to do anything. So far i havnt had any real issues with safari or any other app. Thanks. _Jay_
That sounds like a CPUID issue about iTunes. Use Marvin's AMD Utility to patch CPUIDs for iTunes and Quicktime. Also, you will have to Reinstall itunes from a downloaded version so you can sign in. That's the only way I was able to fix mine. As for your video issues...It could be because you are foiling your 9500GT to be a 8800GT. I'm assuming you're using the old version of EFIstudio. Try foiling it to be a 9400GT instead of 8800GT. Other than that....a Vbois is the only other thing I can suggest for your card by injecting it into your Extra folder and EFI string it into your com.boot.plist. If you can find answers by searching PM me, I'll try and help you further.
