the magical me
hi... guys.... I have been searching for Snowlepard for Intel PCs (hackintosh) for a while, and just yesterday, I found a torrent file, which is assumed to be Snowleopard 10.6.3 by iAtkos, I haven't completed downloading the torrent yet, but it just occurred to me to ask if someone of you here could successfuly installed this on his PC ?? the PC I am going to try it on is as the following, : Motherbaord : P5KPL-C/1600 (Intel G31 chipset family). CPU: Core2 Duo E8400. RAM: 4GB @ 800 FSB (2x2). GPU: nVidia GeForce 8500GT 1GB DDR2. HDD : Samsung SATA 500 GB, 7200 RPM, 16 MB buffer. so do you think this iAtkos 10.6.3 will work with my PC ? or do I need a special way of installing it to get it working ?? what about you ...??? has any one of you tried it ?? thanks to all. cloverbay
i find it a little strange. Many people are saying that by using a boot disc & retail SL, its the easiest to intstall SL, but when you read those posts, everyone has a ton to do & issues with replacing kexts manually. That is really pain in the a s s. How is that really easy? I did the the install of Tiger & Leopard using the MBR ver of Kalyway & iAtkos, the only trouble i had is to fig out what drivers to install during the process. Which i find easier 'cos there's only these much permutation to try, eventually you'll hit 1 that works on your mobo. MBR method seems to be also more friendly with dual boot, co-existing with Windows. So far i haven't seen any SL that comes with MBR option. Pls post your update after you've fully D/L iAtkos, i'm most interested to know Thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/221680-snowleopard-osx86-by-iatkos/#findComment-1493539 Share on other sites
