montag
I cannot afford to go over $500 when I buy a new laptop in september, and if possible I would like to run OS X. I allready have a Lenovo S10 with OS X on it, but it is too slow and too small for my future needs. I was going to buy a full size (13-16 inch) Lenovo, but they all seem to have some version of the gma 4500, which I understand to be problematic. As far as I can tell all of the sub $500 laptops on the market with Intel processors are using some form of the 4500. Would I be better off with an AMD based laptop so I can get a more compatible video processor? The AMD based laptops seem to be somewhat cheaper anyway, so that is of course a plus. What else should I be aware of? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/221657-what-is-the-best-full-size-laptop-under-500-for-os-x/ Share on other sites
