  1. I cannot afford to go over $500 when I buy a new laptop in september, and if possible I would like to run OS X. I allready have a Lenovo S10 with OS X on it, but it is too slow and too small for my future needs. I was going to buy a full size (13-16 inch) Lenovo, but they all seem to have some version of the gma 4500, which I understand to be problematic. As far as I can tell all of the sub $500 laptops on the market with Intel processors are using some form of the 4500. Would I be better off with an AMD based laptop so I can get a more compatible video processor? The AMD based laptops seem to be somewhat cheaper anyway, so that is of course a plus. What else should I be aware of?
  2. It will say "Public Beta" on the disc. I'd like to add that, contrary to what someone else said in a previous thread, the Public Beta will run if you set the internal clock on the mac in question to the right date range. Ok, maybe crawl is a better term.
