EVGA P55 motherboard

Hello

 

Does anyone, anyone knows if OSX86 (Snow Leopard) will work with a EVGA P55 ... (any of this series) motherboard?

Because i am going for a new motherboard, CPU (Intel core i7 860) and RAM (OCZ gold).

 

I would greatly appreciate all your thoughts.

OS X can be installed on P55 motherboards, but I've only read of it being done in Gigabtye models. I have no idea if it would work for EVGA.

Yeah, that would be the alternative if i am really sure the EVGA motherboard would require tooo much hacking.

There's not one P55 eVGA in the OXx86 database. You should stick with Gigabyte. Believe me: it's a blessing to use a popular mobo when you're not a trained hacker. Take mine, for instance: I've found at least 4 tutorials for Snow Leopard. two failed, but the third works fine.

I have decided to go with a Gigabyte P55A UD3. This will at least ensure i get OSX86 to work.
