Hey, is there anybody with a FirePro working? I really want to know because I need that native DisplayPort connection for the upcoming 27" Cinema Display.

ATI FirePro v3750 compatible?

Hello Does somebody knows if the ATI FirePro v3750 or any other card in these series is compatible with a Hackintosh? I would like to use it to have native DisplayPort connection and to do some video editing. Thanks in advance!
3. Has this something to do with the bootloader or the install DVD?
4. Hello guys I am booting with ##### Supported to install Snow Leopard on the HDD. Now there was a warning message: "/extra/dsdt.aml not found". I copied the dsdt for my motherboard to the extra directory on the bootloader disc. Now i got a new screen: Loading Operating System ... cdboot: init cdboot: file size: 00025B00 cdboot: reading sectors: 0000004C cdboot: loading.......... cdboot: done_ Does anyone has seen this screen before?

Snow Leo hangs after installation

Common guys First i couldn't install "still waiting for root device", now i have bought new hardware and it is installed successful but i can't boot into Snow Leopard. This is the last step and i need some help here. I am close to giving up but i won't because i really want to work with nothing else then Mac OS X.

Snow Leo hangs after installation

This topic starter has exact the same problem: http://www.tonymacx86.com/viewtopic.php?f=...279&start=0 But the exact same solution doesn't work for me. When i try to boot with "tonymacx86P55bootcd" it stops on another error. Is there anybody who can point me into the right direction, because my hardware is pretty compatible, i just don't get it to boot from the instal.
8. Hello I have installed Snow Leopard successfully on a 16GB USB stick. Upon restart, ##### Supported stops at the following line (in verbose mode): "using system - type=0x01". Does anyone knows what to do? Gigabyte P55A-UD3 Intel core I7 860 ##### Supported + Snow Leopard 1.6.3 Greets
9. Thanks! I have decided to go with a Gigabyte P55A UD3. This will at least ensure i get OSX86 to work.
10. Yeah, that would be the alternative if i am really sure the EVGA motherboard would require tooo much hacking.
11. Hello Does anyone, anyone knows if OSX86 (Snow Leopard) will work with a EVGA P55 ... (any of this series) motherboard? Because i am going for a new motherboard, CPU (Intel core i7 860) and RAM (OCZ gold). I would greatly appreciate all your thoughts.

Boot from HDD with OSX installed

Is there anyone who has actually tried this?

Boot from HDD with OSX installed

I mean the last one. So there's no way to do this without a kernel panic? Also, why don't we always get a kernel panic when we just install Snow Leopard from the DVD on the PC HDD via a bootloader? Is it the bootloader that adds files to the install to substitute the kernel panic?
14. I have a little question which i am searching an aswer for: Is it possible to plug in your HDD on a Mac or Macbook and install Snow Leopard and then just plug it into your PC and boot from it with a bootloader? Very curious about the possibilities here...

Don't know where to start

Error one (no ramdisk config) disappears when i put the HDD on SATA-1 and the DVD-RW on SATA-2. You got the same second error? Strange. I disabled RAID in the BIOS (this is the same as enabling AHCI). I tried variations of -v and -x. My Nvidia card is mounted, all other devices like firewire card, second HDD, ... are disconnected. Apparently it has nothing to do with the bootloader because Empire EFI and ##### are giving this error and i've read that other people with other bootloaders got the same problem. I searched the forums, the internet and tried a bunch of stuff but nothing that actually solved it. I appreciate your support. What are you trying at the moment? It's just a matter of time until this damn thing will work for us.
