crobo
Hello guys... I installed Snow Leopard 10.6.3 by iAtkos S3 (almost a empty install) -I tried the Graphicsenabler=yes but that didnt work... -Also i treid ati4600controller kext and atix2000 kext, but that also didnt work. the problem is that i'm only getting the 1024x768 resolution, and that has to be 1280x1024. This is what i saw on Wiki ''Install EVOenabler, ATI4600controller and ATIx2000 kexts. Edit the kexts with your device ID. Set GraphicsEnabler=y in the boot.plist file'' Below i uploaded the ati4600controller and atix2000 kext and EVOenabler. But i dont know how to set graphicsenabler=y to the boot.plist file & how to put the device ID into the kext files Here are mine 3 kext files, that has to be edit to my device-id My Kext Files Dont know if the screenshot below is right for showin the device-id, im a noob at these things: Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/221376-ati-radeon-4650-hd-need-drivers1024x768-only/ Share on other sites
errandwolfe
Okay, here is what worked for me... 1. You must be on at least 10.6.3, this did not work under 10.6.2 or earlier. 2. Make sure you have the latest EFI installed. 3. Set the graphicsenabler=y 4. Remove any graphics enabler kexts (Natit, EvoEnabler, etc..) 5. Insert device ID into Radeon4600Controller and Radeon2000 kexts. Now the caveat is dual screen only works in mirror mode and to use DVI port you must use DVI/VGA adapter.
