10.6.4 Updated Fine On Asus Formula Maximus III

Just wanted to let everyone know of the successful update from 10.6.3 to 10.6.4 via software update no problems.

Running Asus Maximus Formula III with i5 @ 3.7ghz 4gb ddr3

you ever tried to "busratio=17" without the "cpus=1"?

 

if that is the problem

add to boot.plist

yes I had , but always get a kp ,just cpus=1 works , they say its a problem related to HP's bios not recognizing a code line in the kernel , there may be a fix HERE but I don't know how to do it .

if someone could just explain it to me ,ill appreciate it

hey there, i'm curious, i'm using a Maximus Gene III mother board alongside an i5 750 CPU.... how did you install SnowLeopard? i'm trying to use [url=&quot;http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/&quot;]#####[/url] ATI, because of my ATI graphics card.. but to no avail..
