How do I boot MAC OS X 10.5.7 without disc. I have been using the IAKTOS V7 to boot leopard and I am tried of it. They way I currently boot my leopard Partition is by hitting F12 and the bois screen. Then when the IAKTOS v7 disc load I hit F8 for advanced start up option. Then I type rd=disc0s2 to boot the leopard partition. I am tried of this. The PC only has Leopard on it for now.

Chameleon Rc4

If you use the package up or do a manual installation, should have no problem. The secret is to use the fdisk command included in the binary packages Chameleon. The installer was made up by taking this precaution.

Installs only the boot volume and boot1h selected, and the MBR boot0, recording only the initial 440 bytes to avoid damaging the boot of Windows 7 and Vista. It also makes active the selected partition (for partitions and MBR hybrid MBR).

Useful for when you need to reinstall Chameleon (Windows installation in dual boot).

:P

Just install Chameleon to your hard drive. Follow the link I posted above.

If you have any important settings and files on your Boot CD you will have to move all that over to the Chameleon installation on your hard drive.

Keep experimenting until it works - until it does, you can still boot with your CD. Most people are not as lucky as you.
