You cannot boot from optical media with Chameleon when it's installed to a hard drive.

If you want to boot DVDs, you have to make a Chameleon boot CD:

oh ok...thanks, i do use empire efi to boot dvd...i was just wondering about when its booting from the hard drive..i think they need to make that an option in the future though.....

If it was that simple it would have been done already.

If you want to boot the retail DVD with Chameleon installed to a hard drive, use Apple Disk Utility to "restore" the DVD to a partition on your HD. It works perfectly and installation is much faster when done from HD. Besides it's nice to have a bootable OS X environment handy for maintenance tasks.
