Why doesnt it show up? why does only my mac partition show up but no dvd's ? i have had to repair my hard drive once and i had to put in a efi boot disk and do it that way to even get my snow leopard disk to even show up at all... Beerkex'd
You cannot boot from optical media with Chameleon when it's installed to a hard drive. If you want to boot DVDs, you have to make a Chameleon boot CD: http://forum.voodooprojects.org/index.php/...31.html#msg2131 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/221034-chameleon-and-dvd-booting/#findComment-1487663 Share on other sites

Gringo Vermelho
If it was that simple it would have been done already. If you want to boot the retail DVD with Chameleon installed to a hard drive, use Apple Disk Utility to "restore" the DVD to a partition on your HD. It works perfectly and installation is much faster when done from HD. Besides it's nice to have a bootable OS X environment handy for maintenance tasks.
