bsod
thought it might be nice to start a thread that lists the programs that have been ported to x86 that don't need rosetta to run. Firefox http://josh.trancesoftware.com/firefox-1.0...US.intelmac.dmg Thunderbird http://josh.trancesoftware.com/mozilla/thu...+.en-US.mac.dmg Camino http://josh.trancesoftware.com/mozilla/Camino-x86.app.zip http://weblogs.mozillazine.org/josh/ -the blog of one of the main developers porting mozilla apps to mactel Colloquy - IRC Client http://colloquy.info/downloads/colloquy-universal.zip http://colloquy.info/ feel free to add if you find any others, atleast until rosetta gets running on sse2 (hopefully someone is working on that) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/221-list-of-apps-ported-to-x86/ Share on other sites

jfoust
Oh sweet... I was just about to get pissed that I wouldn't have my FF running on the laptop, but thanks to you I don't have to sweat it! I went to mozilla's site but safari crashes every time it gets about 1/2 loaded... Don't know what that's all about, but it's all good now! p3n5t3r
A question: I have a SSE3 processor, does that mean that I can install native mac os X apps? I have installed Adium and it works without anyproblems on my comp.
