lny Posted June 10, 2010 Share Posted June 10, 2010 Hi, I'd like to install SL on my Notebook too, but I have a Problem with IOFireWireFamily.kext and I ask myself it it's possible to exclude this kext on the retail dvd. fbifido Posted June 10, 2010 Share Posted June 10, 2010 Sorry but this is the only Topic that was near what i want Question: When installing OSx86, and the reach the part to make hard drive ready, can someone make a program just like 'el coniglio System Info ' to check and see what kext & kernel you will need and if possible downloads or give link to them? or create a linux boot-cd that check your machine spec. and what kernel and kext will be needed, and if possible use this info to build a boot123-cd?
