sirbow2
I have a completely retail install of leopard 10.5.1, I have chameleon on the EFI partition with all the kexts I need to boot succesfully. After installing the 10.5.8 combo update from the software update app in OSX and restarting I get the waiting for root device error. I have one ATA hard drive and that is it. I didn't change the hard drive ATA port after installing the update or anything else but it worked before the update so I was thinking it had to do with my ATA kext not being compatible with 10.5.8 is this common after a update? I'll have my /E/E folder in a archive for anyone to look at soon.
