unknownname69
Hey, i have now the iDeneb 10.5.8 cd, but i can't install it. When i boot my Notebook from this CD, it says : press any key .... then when i press any key it loads a bit and then the apple logo appears(for 1 second). Then my Notebook reboot and the same happens again. I tried it with the bootflag -v or with -x but it doesn't worked, too. Someone know, why i can't install it ? Maybe not compatible with my Notebook ? When this is not compatible with my notebook, which version of "Hackintosh" could work for me ? please help here some notebook / hardware infos : Notebook : HP Pavilion dv7-3180sg 17.3" Intel Core i7 Q720 (or 720QM) -Motherboard Motherboard ID : <DMI> Motherboard Name : Hewlett-Packard HP Pavilion dv7 Notebook PC Motherboard Chipsatz : Intel Ibex Peak-M PM55, Intel Lynnfield -Processor CPU Typ : QuadCore Intel Core i7 720QM, 1733 MHz (13 x 133) CPU Bezeichnung : Clarksfield -Graficcardk Grafikkarte : NVIDIA GeForce GT 230M -Netzwerkkarte Netzwerkkarte : Broadcom 43225 802.11b/g/n Schnittstellentyp : 802.11 Wireless Ethernet for more information about my notebook visit http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/de/de/ho/WF...68-4126634.html Hope u can help Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/220004-ideneb-1058-with-my-hp-notebook-compatible/ Share on other sites

The only thing is that the dvd drive is very slow, so you may have to wait until it settles from spinning. I can't post a new topic to show how I did mine yet, but you can go to my page to see how I did mine. Make sure you select everything correctly on your bios. Do you currently have windows 7 on it right now and plan to dual boot the computer? If so, make a new partition of about 100GB, make it active and primary, even format it. Download EasyBCD1.7.2 and create a boot menu with just windows 7. This will help to fix the boot when you're done with the OS x installation. *1st boot cd/dvd. I didn't have to use -v or -x to load the iDeneb 1.6 on my laptop. if the DVD is correct, hit F8 to choose option, don't enter anything, just wait until the drive stops spinning, then hit enter to install. If you only see the apple screen and no progress circle, the reboot and do it again. Yes you can use -v to see what's hanging up. Hope this help, Louis Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/220004-ideneb-1058-with-my-hp-notebook-compatible/#findComment-1481354 Share on other sites

When the installation is done, you go back to the bios to select the hard drive as a first boot device or EJECT the CD. I always leave the CD first boot, Hard drive (ide or sata) second and eject all boot-able cd out.
