If you are looking for a Tablet Touch Screen, If you want to keep using your USB memory stick to transfer you last holidays photos because 4Go in Bluetooth takes time… If you want to arrive at your mate house, a join the network without having to enter credential, and just by plugging an Ethernet cable to the router. If you want to chat with a webcam If you want 3G If you want to be able to display on an external screen (working with Excel on 10” ??, no thanks) If you are clever enough for multitasking If you want to be able to get 1 or 2 Gb of Ram If you want to be sure that your not buying an under configured device, just because some marketing guy want you to buy a “v2.0” in a year. And if you don’t want to break the piggy bank for all that Well don’t get an iPad, get something else, something like a TEGA Touch. I just find that Tablet looking for iPad alternative. Weighting just 1 kilo, and for price starting at AU$846.56, I was pleased to see that for such price, there is an iPad alternative containing With these specs in the box, you can expect to do what you are normally doing with a computer, not only surfing on the web and read e-book. Well 2Gb of Ram and Multitasking is for you. - Cooking dinner at home? You just want to listen to internet radio while checking recipes on the net, well, multitasking is for you again. Does that look far from what you’re doing all the time with your computer? No too far really, this is why I’ll prefer to get a Tega than a iPad. Device only, is around $850 Australian dollars. Which isnt that bad, but yeah its not super cheap. Dee S. 73 Posted June 2, 2010 Share Posted June 2, 2010 "powered on" time on battery is awful....even my nc10 wich shares quite all the system specs has a (real & tested) battery life of more then 6h with wifi off and 5 hours surfing the web on wifi... should last 8-10 hours for the "everyday use" as a book-video/music player-mail/web.
