ChristopherE
Hi, before I start i'll say this: I have read the 10.6.3 post, and it did not help me. I need a straight forward guide of how to install 10.6.3. I have attempted to install 10.6.3 three times and failed each time.

Beerkex'd
Duh. Post some specs, otherwise nobody can help you. There are tons of generic guides out there, if you're looking for one that is specific to your hardware you need to post some information about it. TheDon
Duh. Post some specs, otherwise nobody can help you. There are tons of generic guides out there, if you're looking for one that is specific to your hardware you need to post some information about it. I dont know who that guy is, but I have a Dell 1520 laptop with working 10.5.7 but more importanly on the way from Dell Outlet, a Studio 14z with the following.. Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T6600 (2.2GHz/800Mhz NVIDIA GeForce 9400M G Dell 1397 802.11B/G Wireless Mini Card 1 GB integrated + 2 GB DDR3 SDRAM and the 29 dollar 10.6.3 Snow Leopard DVD I just created a bootable USB drive that boots up on my 1520. But I used the Lifehacker guide which is for a specific workstation with asus motherboard. Any guides out there for the Studio 14z? I think all I need is the stuff that goes in the extras folder. I did my 1520 when there were way less guides out there. Some of the stuff today makes it easier but there so much info out there you have to find the right guide to get started.
