Hello, I have some problems installing iATKOS v7.

The installation is very very slow, this is, around 2 hours. And once installed...

  • The PS/2 driver is not working (I had to use the Voodoo kernel so I used the Apple PS/2 driver).
  • The RT61 driver is not working, so I have no networking:

com.Ralink.driver.RT61CardBusDriver isn't a valid mach-o (magic is cefaedfe)
error mapping module file com.Ralink.driver.RT61CardBusDriver
can't map com.Ralink.driver.RT61CardBusDriver in preparation for loading
Can't determine dependencies for com.Ralink.driver.RT61CardBusDriver
Couldn't alloc class "RT61CardBusDriver"

  • The Azalia sound driver is not working (I got a SiS 7012 AC'97 sound card)

Any help? :huh:

@monq have you tried other PS/2 drivers?

the AC '97 drivers are kinda easy just requires searching

as for others try installing multiple drivers when reasonable.. worked for me when i was trobleshooting what was working

(but remember im not a 'pro' at this just got a fully working system runinng few days ago myself)

@arrakis9001

I dont understand the question

@Jaspreet singh

what bootloader, what vga drivers did you install, have you tried booting in safe mode (-x) or (cpus=1)?

if you use a 'hacked' install they have some common drivers, if not my best method is search model number and kext in google thats how i found out how to install my 9800 gx2 drivers.

installing them could be as simple as copying the specific kext to the extension folder /system/libray/extensions/ or a bundled package or dmg

harder installs call for custom 'injections' (especially my vga drivers)

@monq have you tried other PS/2 drivers?

I had to install a Voodoo kernel, and the description says that I MUST use the Apple driver for it.

Anyway I tried the other PS/2 drivers and they didn't work :(

Searching what? :D

Thanks
