Adding Chameleon to existing configuration

Hello.

 

Currently I'm using dual boot Win7/OS 10.5.8 with darwin bootloader on my FS Amilo.

What I want to do is to install chameleon, and here comes the question: Is it safe to do so?

I also have ubuntu installed on external drive.

Is there a possibility, that when I plug the external in, chemeleon will find it and add it to boot selection?

From this guide, follow step 4, and step 5 (from ubuntu). Then run OSX and install chameleon. If everything works, then fantastic. If you want to undo all of this, follow step 8.
