Zythyr
I am planning to use hardknoxni69a's tutorial, http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=201330, to install Snow Leopard on my AMD laptop. But before I go through all of of this process, I wanted to if my hardware will be compatible. Will my sound, Ethernet, wireless, etc work? How do I figure out if my hardware is compatible or not? I see there are many guides on how to installation process, but I can't seem to find any guide on hardware compatibility, where to download the drivers, and how to install the drivers once Snow Leopard is up and running. I am planning to install Snow on my HP Pavilion dv6607nr laptop with the following specs: Processor: AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core TK-53 Motherboard: Quanta 30CF Chipset: NVIDIA nForce 560 Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce 7150M/nForce 630M Wireless: Broadcom 802.11g Network Adapter NVIDIA nForce Networking Controller Sound: Conexant High Definition SmartAudio HD2
_Jay_
The only way to know the answers to the questions you have asked is to do it yourself and then find out! OR....Search box up top...type in your laptop and read what you see!!!
