baysie
Yeh, my solution is I use a External Firewire capture divice (Canopus ADVC-110). It works out of the Box, I paid $300 for mine......(apple reseller) You need a pci firewire card $20, works out of box....... Plug it in and it fully final cut studio/pro compatible....... Oh and if you want to use it to watch TV....... download this from apple http://developer.apple.com/samplecode/Hack...rbon/index.html baysie Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/21919-recommendations-for-hackintosh-video-capture/#findComment-144934 Share on other sites

sandmanfvrga
I got a USB device that captures analog on Windows and it nice. Alot of them on ebay. Now I found this: http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/14209 USBVision lets OS X work with these. I am going to try this at home. Don't know if you are talking about analog capture but I figure you are since OS X and DV Camcorders work great. zackhunter
Does USB Vision 1.2 also work with cheap Webcams without Drivers? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/21919-recommendations-for-hackintosh-video-capture/#findComment-145236 Share on other sites
sandmanfvrga
Damn. I tried to use USB Vision, but I have no opengl since I have an unsupported card till I get my X1600 so it crashed. Hopefully I can try this soon since I need this USB capture and IF this works, then there are ALOT of USB capture devices on ebay that are cheap and work great.
