I patched the DVD using bender and broadband's patch (Release1) and installed it. Sound (bit choppy), Video, touchpad, USB mouse, works.

The video would only work in 1024x768 mode with no Quartz Extreme at first. However, using the AppleIntel830*.kext from the Darwin CD made it work at 1280x800 with QE. I just can't get Core Graphics working.

Everyonce in a while, when I boot up, I'd get messed up graphics, basically no text and big blocks of nothing. I could short of navigate my way around to restart it since you see the outline. However, it doesn't happen when I boot up with -x into safe mode. Then the next reboot into normal mode, it works fine. I don't get it.

I had no problems installing it on my notebook's 60GB internal HD so I figure why not try it on my external USB HD as well. I have a cheap generic USB case that houses an old Quantum 6.4GB. It installed fine as well. I'm running a copy of OSX from the external USB HD right now. I had to make sure my BIOS was booting from USB though.
