protivakid
Hey, I searched the forum and am surprised there is no "list" of best board for doing a Vanilla installation of Snow Leopard on. My question is simple, what is the best board made by Asus, Micro ATX form factor, Socket 775, that will allow me to do an easily installation of Snow Leopard. Also, like you can do on the Asus P6T boards, I don't want to have to use a working mac first to prep the drive as I don't have a working mac currently. Thanks in advance! GeForce 8800
I use a ASUS Maximus II GENE. It is great for overclocking and my Hackintosh setup runs fine on this aswell. Snow Leopard 10.6.3 Installed with minimal effort BUT you do need an extra partition or something to have working Leopard install. I use a chameleon USB stick to boot my computer. The hard drive I am fine with, but did you need to use a working mac to prep and drives or just chameleon boot loader?
