KeFfBoY
Hello everyone! I am kinda new to this with DSDT editing, but I think I got a hang of how to compile and decompile the files correctly. Now to the question. I have currently installed Chameleon on my OSX drive, and it works like a charm, but I still don't see whether it does actually load the dsdt.aml file or not, so it's kinda hard to figure whether I make any progress in getting sleep to work. I have currently put the dsdt.aml file in the root, just in the same spot as where chameleons file boot resides. Does Chameleon automatically load this dsdt.aml file, or do I need to manually tell it to during boot with a command? I've read I should put it in the root, and I've also seen people claim it should reside inside the Extra folder, what is correct? The mobo I run is Asus P5E and I currently try to get sleep to work. (Currently the screen just goes black, and all fans still goes 100%, and I can not get the computer out of this state) If anyone got any tips of how to progress, and can answer my questions, please do Thanks! Beerkex'd
If you want to check if your modified DSDT gets loaded, just extract your DSDT in OS X. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/218573-dsdt-questions/#findComment-1469584 Share on other sites

I have mine in Extra. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/218573-dsdt-questions/#findComment-1469642 Share on other sites
KeFfBoY
Okey thank you for the answers. I think I solved the problems and sleep now works. Sadly I can't say the performance of the system is very good though =( Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/218573-dsdt-questions/#findComment-1469685 Share on other sites
