DK-RendeR
I followed this guide to install Snow Leopard: http://osx86.net/f57/guide-retail-snow-leo...for-g31m-t3672/ Everything works except the audio. When Snow Leopard was installed, I immediately installed all the updates via Software Update. Everything installed no problem. I've read that there are/were some problems with audio after the update to 10.6.3, but not one of the fixes out there seem to work. I've tried the original Legacy883 kext, 10.6.2 AppleHDA kexts, and even a "patched" 10.6.3 AppleHDA kext. None of these work for me. No audio device is seen in System Preferences/Sound. Any ideas? Should I install the sound driver first under 10.6.0 first and then update? Also, another question... I copied the DSDT.AML file from the guide instead of making my own. Would that have any bearing since we have the same revision of motherboard? DK-RendeR
OK, I got it working, but it's not quite right. I used the kext from this link: http://www.kexts.com/view/265-patched_appl...0.6.2_kext.html However, the quality of the audio is bad and is really tinny. Does anyone have a link to one that works better?
