highlift
Hey guys and gals, Trying to setup a decent video editing MAC rig and decided to invest in a Gigabyte EP45-UD3L with a Pentium D 3ghz and ATI 4550. I've followed a numerous amount of guides but all of them leave me with the same result. the installation completes successfully. On restart, MAC starts to boot then reboots after loading the OS. Does anyone have any ideas? I'm running F7 Bios as recommended by most everyone. I've tried -v -f cpus=1, the OS still reboots during loading. I really wanna do this so can anyone offer any ideas? Cheers! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/218092-ep45-ud3l-in-reboot-loop-after-leopard-install/ Share on other sites

highlift
Leopard? LOL. http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=187906 I dont get it, however i did search and see that thread. The same thing happens when i follow that and all other guides I've tried F4, F7 and F9 Bios versions. When I follow that thread and boot from teh MAC partition the OS begins to load. If I run it in verbose mode I see it loading. Then it will reboot when i suppose it wants to launch the graphical portion of the OS. Any ideas?
