VPNC

Has anyone had much luck getting VPNC to run? I've managed to compile it (along with the required libgcrypt and gpg-error programs), and the tun kext driver.

However, the problem I'm having is that when running VPNC with the "--kernel-ipsec" argument, it causes OS X to hang with the grey "Please restart your computer." screen. The kernel should have IPSec support built-in, and it looks like it does based on running the command "sysctl -a | grep ipsec".

Anyone have any suggestions? Many thanks!

Hey taber,

I wanna conect to my uni via vpn so I installed Ciscos VPN CLient on Osx86 but how I excpected it didn't start giving me an ipsec error (or something like it)

So now I'm searching for an alternative. Did you get vpnc to run?

I would like to help you on that, just let me know what you already tried.

regards,

chris

I managed to compile everything, but I got an unknown symbol error when running vpnc

I need either vpnc, or a wireless RT2500 driver that supports Cisco LEAP+WEP, or PEAP-MsChapV2+WPA
