  1. It works for me now I only needed to copy the AppleSMBIOS and do the kextcache stuff Now my disk seems slow, I guess I have to copy AppleIntelPIIXATA.kext from my old 10.4.4
  2. Who has an Intel iMac?

and you bought an intel iMac for running windows?
  3. Linux vs. OS X

Overall Linux has much better foundations (thanks to GPL, Linux can use BSD code, but BSD can't use Linux code, which keeps Linux superior in my opinion) and is a lot faster. But of course, OSX has a much nicer UI. (except the Finder application which sucks compared to Konqueror) I always hated computers which aren't custom PCs (that include Apple). OSX 10.4.3 works very well on my laptop, but I still prefer running Linux as my main OS. Maybe I would use OSX more if it could replace Windows completly in the future (and Linux don't) and of course if I can get future versions of OSX to run on my computer.
  4. Cisco Client Binary???

I think this client needs a driver which can't run in rosetta we will have to wait until the release
  5. VPNC

I managed to compile everything, but I got an unknown symbol error when running vpnc I need either vpnc, or a wireless RT2500 driver that supports Cisco LEAP+WEP, or PEAP-MsChapV2+WPA
  6. Pentium M "Banias" 1.4 GHz

strange thing for me and my Dothan 1.6 GHz FSB 400 (but overclocked to 2.13 GHz) I get the no PAE support error in vmware but it works fine in native
  7. [HowTo] Intel GMA 900 (for 915GM and 910)

Same thing with an Asus Z71A
  8. my opinion of mac

Apple pays the movie industry to put Apple computers in their movies. You talked about episode 3 but : I never heard about Mac Opteron Maybe they forgot to show their Opterons in the bonus features
  9. Linux Distributions

if you want full control, install only packages that you want and learn Linux well : Debian if you want something that looks like Debian but more easy : Ubuntu if you want to compile all your apps from source : Gentoo do not use something from a company (Fedora, Mandrake, etc) If you want an OS controlled by a single company use Windows or OS X.
  10. 10.4.3 , Comment on l'installe ?

la dernière version (8f1111) est utile car elle permet l'émulation AltiVec Pour ma part je l'utilise sur mon portable (SSE2) J'ai installé directement à partir du DVD (préalablement patché SSE2)
  11. [HowTo] Intel GMA 900 (for 915GM and 910)

It didn't work on my Asus Z71A and the files com.apple.something are somewherelse
  12. [HowTo] Intel GMA 900 (for 915GM and 910)

yes my Darwin boot screen shows 15MB (I think it always show 1MB less than your total video memory) and I get the blue screen if I don't use my dummy s-video adapter I don't beleive we get the blue screen because we don't have engough video memory. If it was only that, there should be a way to disable QE and CI get rid of the blue screen. I think it's because our LCD is plugged on pipe B instead of pipe A and the driver isn't aware of that.
