Snick
Hi all, i have a Haskintosh with a q9550 processor and leopard 10.5.8. (vanilla) installed. Gigabyte ga ep as motherboard (the same configuration in my sign). The only temperature displayed by OS (or on istat) is the two HD temperature. How is possible to add also the other temperature (at least the cpu, but gpu will be cool too ) Tnx a lot best Nick Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/217088-cpu-temperature-not-displayed/ Share on other sites
grice
Get Temperature monitor 4.9 That one works. It needs to self install a driver to read the CPU temps. Beerkex'd
Use fakesmc.kext instead of DSMOS.kext or AppleDecrypt.kext. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/217088-cpu-temperature-not-displayed/#findComment-1460563 Share on other sites
Freaky Chokra
Use fakesmc.kext instead of DSMOS.kext or AppleDecrypt.kext. Very true. The newer fakesmc.kext is apt for that as well as decryption. Here is attached is the latest, updated and modified FakeSMC.kext version 2.5 Regards, Freaky Chokra FakeSMC_version2.5: fakesmc.kext_Version2.5.zip Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/217088-cpu-temperature-not-displayed/#findComment-1460585 Share on other sites
