Hi all,

i have a Haskintosh with a q9550 processor and leopard 10.5.8. (vanilla) installed. Gigabyte ga ep as motherboard (the same configuration in my sign).

The only temperature displayed by OS (or on istat) is the two HD temperature.

How is possible to add also the other temperature (at least the cpu, but gpu will be cool too )

Tnx a lot

best

Nick

Use fakesmc.kext instead of DSMOS.kext or AppleDecrypt.kext.

Very true. The newer fakesmc.kext is apt for that as well as decryption.

Here is attached is the latest, updated and modified FakeSMC.kext version 2.5

i use fakesmc to get my temps in istat, as posted above

but i also use HardwareMonitor which I think is a pretty bad a$$ program. I have my temps for each core, CPU load, free memory with transparency right on my desktop

if you look hard, ye shall find :D
