mikecwest
I can not seem to make friends with Google on this issue. I would like to know how or if I can use terminal to set a default that allows OSX to make the smallest file vs the fastest time when I right click and select Compress. Anyone here that can help? THANKS Hi mikecwest. As of date, there isn't much any setting available to set that. But. But. You can try installing the Archives Preference Pane. It gives you three options for compressing files. 1)Compressed Archive 2) Regular Archive 3) ZIP Archive Probably that should be between fastest -> smallest in descending order. And, that same thing also allows tweaking several other settings related to Archiving and UnArchiving. Regards, Freaky Chokra
