gadgetsboyj
I have a Snow Leopard install and a Leopard install on 2 different partitions (both with Chameleon installed) and Chameleon boots from the Snow Leopard partition (it's first). When booting Snow Leopard, it boots fine, but when booting from Leopard, it immediately kernel panics because it's trying to use the stuff in the Snow Leopard Extra folder which won't work. Is there any way to get Chameleon to use the Extra folder from the Leopard HD when I boot Leopard?
Beerkex'd
Chameleon supports something like.. /Extra/Extensions/10.5 /Extra/Extensions/10.6 ..on the same partition that Chameleon is installed to. It's not exactly like that, so pay a visit to the VoodooProjects forum and read the documentation in the Chameleon General forum. Disclaimer: Before you accuse me of lying and not wanting to tell you exactly how it works, I have never used this feature myself, this is all I know, you will have to find out for yourself exactly how to set it up. I can't seem to find where in the documentation it tells about this feature. EDIT: Never mind, I found it. It only seemed to work after installing Chameleon to the EFI partition but I don't mind having it there. Thanks for your help. For anyone who was wondering, this is the thread I found what I need in.
