The following is my build:

Motherboard: EVGA X58 SLI LE

CPU: i7 920 D0 stepping, planning to OC

Memory: Corsair Dominator 1600 MHz DDR3 8-8-8-24 (may swap out for 12 GB of XMS3 memory)

Graphics card: Dual nVidia GTS 250 in SLI

Hard drives: Start up drive: 30 GB OCZ Vertex series SSD Other drives: 4 2TB drives in RAID 0 (recording uncompressed HD video for editing.)

Raid controller:Alright I don't know why my macbook is doing this, but the RAID controller is the areca ARC-1210. It won't let me delete this.

Anyway, I'm wondering if anyone could write a straightfoward guide to installing all this and installing Snow Leopard 10.6.3. Thanks! ca ARC-1210areca ARC-1210

Things are repeats around here...

Well this may help out but not sure about some of the stuff on your board:

1.Sound

2.Ethernet

3.Dual nVidia GTS 250 in SLI (will not work but one card sure will)

All non "LE" EVGA X58 SLI X3 and Classified Series have been ironed out to be fully working. Even sleep might work but most EVGA owners seem to Overclock so its not great to enable anything that will throttle your cpu.

I have seen your board around here in posts with its running, but not sure if every part is. Perhaps members with your exact board have figured out everything.

EVGA X58 SLI X3 is what I own but thats over a year old so its better to build on what most members here flock to Gigabyte for its inherited support of Insanelymac. Unfortunately EVGA motherboards beats to another drummer.

No, worries you should still get up and running with these guides as everything els is similar. Don't give up and you can always ask for help. Goodluck

If you need my kext's just ask will post them up...
