Monte SS Burnout
Hey guys.. Im going to buy a new mother board to replace my 780i so i can have a hackintosh. I had horrible luck with the 780i obviously, and am wondering if anyone could suggest a good mother board for a core 2 quad 9650 processor. I have 1066mhz ddr2 ram, 260 gtx nvidia 8950mb card, 300gb raptor drive, and a 1terabyte backup drive. I heard any gigabyte or intel board would do.. please give me some suggestions. Thanks, Mike

Monte SS Burnout
Thanks for the reply! I'm looking, I didnt see anything with sli capability, but still looking. I found this on amazon while looking, i find it amazing its possible to sell this: http://www.amazon.com/OSx86-Creating-Hacki...7916&sr=8-2 and I found that GA-EP45-UD3P would be the best, it has sli, firewire and everything. Too bad its discontinued on newegg, so my best bet is ebay or something
Shubhanyu
Gigabyte's EP45 series boards "just work" with the Mac... Pick any one ... UD3L/LR/R/P whichever you have available. But since the topic is up, I wanted to know a few things myself. UD3L has ALC888 while UD3R and has ALC889A, and the best of the lot UD3P has ALC888. Isn't ALC889A supposed to be better?
