sortadan
It's a 6459-CTO Lenovo T61p with Quadro FX 570M video (1680x1050). I also ordered the Lenovo ABG Airport compatible wifi card (the stock intel ABGN card won't work last i checked). The only thing that isn't working for me is suspend, and my mouse nub. I've tried using the AppleACPIPS2Nub.kext but I can't seem to get it to work with VoodooPS2. I've tried to use the sleepenabler.kext for suspend, but no luck there, and the screen won't shut off on timeout either, though at least the screen will go off with ClamshellDisplay when i close the lid so not too bad really. Anyone have any luck with suspend or the mouse nub on the T61p with 10.6.3? Sound is finally working well (Voodoo) and the video acceleration with 10.6.3 is way better than before, can actually watch youtube at full screen now! My install process: - Buy a copy of snow leo. - Download a patched SnowLeo install disk from the internets. - Boot with the patched install disk - Partition drive appropriately - I did GUID partition table with Journaled for OSX and fat32 placeholder for windows. When I install windows I format the fat32 partition as NTFS, but if you don't create it as fat32 when partitioning from OSX, windows 7 installer can't find it. - Install Snow Leopard - Put the attached files on a USB thumb drive - Boot again with the install disk and open a command prompt - copies over the base files (extensions, dsdt.aml) - fix the permissions on the extensions - Installs the latest chameleon loader boot0, boot1, and copy the boot to root At this point boot into OSX and cross your fingers. If something didn't work then boot with the '-v' option and see what's crashing, then google on how it fix it. I did my time zone as +0 GMT, so that it looks like it's the right time and doesn't mess up the clock for windows. - Update to latest OSX version. - May need to do a flag option to rebuild the extensions after that ('-s' i think?) - Now disable AppleHDA and install VoodooHDA and AtherosFix and you're good to go. f0rcegr0wn
What video acceleration are you talking about. I have not found any drivers for this graphics card. If you are talking about VESA display, yes it is a bit more responsive but nowhere near accelerated.
